The Idea

As the Occupy Wall Street movement gains momentum, a unifying symbol may prove integral. This is the symbol we propose. It consists of a fulcrum, a lever, and two weights.

The Specifics

The large circle represents the influence that the 99% can exert, when unified. The small circle illustrates the isolation and inconsequence of the 1% when they insist on serving only themselves.

But, the beautiful thing is that, when the 99% does unify and exert their collective influence, the 1% can’t help but roll down and join them in true, collective, unity. So be it!
